What Is IoT Connectivity?

Cellular or LPWAN: How to Decide
In practice, many architectures combine the best of both worlds: LoRaWAN or NB-IoT sensors that collect data locally, which is then transmitted to the cloud via a 4G gateway. The gateway aggregates, translates, and secures all the data.
Resilience: The Real Issue in Production
Choosing a technology isn’t enough—the connection has to hold up. For cell phones, the solution is a multi-carrier SIM with automatic failover; for critical sites, WAN redundancy is added.
