Can I buy the gateway on its own, without a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The "Gateway" plan is purely a hardware purchase. The gateway then works with your own SIM cards and cloud infrastructure. OTA firmware updates are included for 2 years.

Does the monthly price include equipment?

Accepted Answer

"Starting at" prices indicate the monthly cloud subscription cost. Hardware is sold separately (one-time purchase). Request a quote for a hardware + subscription bundle with our volume pricing.

How does SIM data billing work?

Accepted Answer

The data is included in a pool that can be shared among all your gateways. Overages are billed in 1 GB increments. The platform displays your usage in real time with threshold alerts.

Is there a minimum commitment?

No commitment required for monthly plans. Annual plans come with a 20% discount. The Full Stack plan includes a free 30-day POC—no credit card required.

Can I switch from the Gateway+Cloud plan to the Full Stack plan?

Yes, at any time and without interruption. Adding SIM connectivity is instantaneous—simply insert the Eziwan SIM into your already deployed gateway.

Is the gateway compatible with my existing PLCs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Eziwan gateway supports RS-232, RS-485, Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP, OPC-UA, MQTT, and the REST API. It is compatible with Siemens, Schneider Electric, Rockwell, Beckhoff, and the vast majority of industrial controllers.

Are there volume discounts for large gateway fleets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Eziwan offers a volume discount starting with 5 active gateways: 15% off for 5 or more sites, 25% off for 10 or more sites, and 35% off for 20 or more sites. For deployments of more than 50 gateways (integrators, MSPs, large manufacturers), a framework agreement with negotiated pricing is available. Contact our sales team for a customized multi-site quote. Discounts apply to the monthly cloud subscription and may also include hardware for bulk orders.

Yes. The Full Stack plan includes a free 30-day POC (Proof of Concept)—with no commitment and no credit card required. The POC includes 1 Eziwan gateway (on loan or available for purchase with a refund if you’re not satisfied), access to the entire cloud platform, and support from our technical team for setup and configuration.
